Kirk started programming on computers as a hobby on the TRS-80 when he was 10. This hobby eventually lead to his professional career choice and he has been working with computers in the IT industry for over 13 years. The majority of that time he has spent developing software solutions in the Windows Management space. At Quest Software Kirk works as a Product Manager and spends all of his time working on PowerShell solutions, most notably PowerGUI (http://www.powergui.org), where he is responsible for the direction of the product and the PowerPacks and Add-ons that are used to extend the product. When he's not working on PowerGUI, Kirk spends his time working with PowerShell in the community, presenting at conferences, launch events, and user group events whenever he gets the opportunity. He also helps users learn PowerShell through his Poshoholic blog (http://www.poshoholic.com) and through the PowerGUI forums.
