Biography
Michel Verhagen has been a Windows CE consultant since 2000, specializing in building complex Windows CE platforms and device drivers for industrial appliances for customers around the world. Michel was born in the Netherlands but since January 2006 Michel is living in New Zealand where he started the company GuruCE (http://GuruCE.com).

Michel has been working with Windows CE since version 3.0. He has extensive experience developing drivers and low level board bring-up code. His coding language experience ranges from ARM assembly to C# and real-time control design.

Besides his own blog on http://GuruCE.com/blog, Michel is very active in the Microsoft forums dealing with Windows CE related questions from the community. In 2001 Microsoft recognized Michel Verhagen as one of the leading experts in the Windows CE community and awarded him with the eMVP (embedded Most Valuable Professional) status for which he has been re-awarded every year since.

When Michel is not responding in real-time, he can most likely be found tumbling down under his paraglider.
