Robert McShinsky has been working in technology for over 17 years focusing on server management and systems architecture design and is currently employed as a Sr. Systems Engineer at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. He is also a regular contributor and member of the Server Virtualization Advisory Board at SearchServerVirtualization. His most notable skills are in the area of server virtualization since 2004. Robert has been the development architect working closely with Microsoft as an early adopter and ongoing participant in TAP/RDP programs of Microsoft Hyper-V and System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM). This has included video and written case studies, acting as a customer reference, and speaking with industry analysts and vendors about Hyper-V and multiple System Center products. Robert has been the lead in migrating hundreds of Windows servers at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center using Virtual Server 2005 R2 and Hyper-V R1/R2/R2 SP1/2012/2012 R2 virtualization platforms over the years. Robert is also the technical lead and architect of the Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. Other skills include management of Red Hat Directory Servers, various Linux operating systems, Citrix/Terminal Services, and Windows desktop deployment scenarios.
