First RDS MVP ever, nominated for the first time in 2001.
RDS hands on experience since the early days, dating all the way back to 1997 when Microsoft was working on Hydra, that became Windows NT 4.0 Terminal Server Edition. Multiuser Windows experience dates back to the first WinFrame available from Citrix but of course as a hard core RDS guy I did work a lot with WinView that was OS/2 based. Thanks to over 20 years of experience doing this and nothing else, customers around the globe come to us for their RDS deployments, from advice to full blown implementation. The environment size does not really matter as I do have customers ranging from 2 concurrent users all the way up to 60,000 ones. And of course along the way I had to learn a lot about App-V as it does help in many cases in an RDS deployment! I was also the founder and CEO of Terminal-Services.NET, the first company to bring to the market tools to handle load balancing and seamless windows applications, completely modular. The company was later acquired by 2X Software Ltd. Same for TSFactory. Started the company and brought to the market the first RDP and ICA session recorder, back in 2008. Today I work with RDS deployments around the world and with ISVs, helping them identifying opportunities for their products and technologies in the RDS space.
