Patricia Hartman

Pat started programming before she could vote and spent the first 20 years of her career designing and developing software for the mainframe using COBOL, IMS, DB2, and CICS. She travelled the US as a consultant and even spent a year working in Kuwait. In 1993 she discovered that Access could link to DB2 tables on the mainframe and she thought she was in love. Since then she has been one of Access' biggest promoters as a tool for accessing data where ever it may be.
