I have started as a software developer in 2002. I'm mostly focused on developing desktop applications with Visual C++, C#, and the .NET framework.

Though over the years I worked with many programming and scripting languages (such as Pascal, C, C++, Java, JavaScript, C#, VB.NET, MC++, C++/CLI, HTML, php, CSS, etc.) C++ was always my first language of choice.

I am currently employed at Visma Software, a Norwegian-based company, where I work as a system architect for an ERP system.

I am the author of several books for C++ developers: "Modern C++ Programming Cookbook" (includes a second edition updated for C++20) and "The Modern C++ Challenge" and the co-author of a third one called "Modern C++: Efficient and Scalable Application Development". I am also a co-author of a book on the C# language and .NET called "Learn C# Programming".

I am the co-founder of codexpert.ro, a site for the Romanian community of C++ developers. I have published regularly over the past ten years on codeguru.com and codeproject.com where my articles have won multiple awards. I can be also found on stackoverflow.com and other technical sites.
