Microsoft Access/SQL Server Design and Development
Biography
George is a Database Developer, creating and maintaining Access and Access/SQL Server solutions for clients, primarily in the Puget Sound region and Western U.S. George operates Grover Park Consulting, specializing in Access/SQL Server database management and Office automation systems for small and medium sized organizations. George is a core member of the Administration team at UtterAccess, the leading Access Help forum on the internet. George has written or contributed to several books on MS Access, the most recent being "Professional Access 2013 Programming", with co-authors Teresa Hennig, Ben Clothier, and Doug Yudovich. George began his Access career creating database tools to track sales for the self-study materials he and his former colleagues created, and to manage the results of CE exams administered to licensees. Realizing Access was more interesting and rewarding than writing training materials, he moved to full-time Access development. George believes any day on which one doesn't learn at least one new thing is a day wasted. George has a special interest in Access Web Apps. He continues to pursue them as a method of extending more traditional databases into the web environment via hybrid applications. George holds an MA in TESL and a BS in English from Utah State University. He still loves to wax pedantic on matters of language and grammar.
