Ed Richard
After starting my career in the Dutch Navy I studied IT in the eighties. After a few years as application developer for the navy the commercial IT world was too much of an attraction. I managed the technical aspects of a Clipper dev team of 8 people until starting my own consulting company in 1994. I have been president of the VO-user group section of SDGN (now SDN) the biggest developer user group in The Netherlands and a board member for many years. Never shy of new environments I was always very interested in application integration with a strong affinity for Microsoft. When .net came along in 2000 I dived right in and when Tahoe was released I started using and promoting SharePoint. In 2005 I moved to Australia. I have been a speaker at many national and international conferences such as CA-World, Tech-Ed and CttM/SDC and regularly publish articles. I have co-founded the Melbourne Office Special Interest Group and recently I now manage e-Agility with a strong focus on delivering business value using SharePoint and Office.
