Chris O'Connor

( Chris O'Connor )

Chris is a freelance consultant in Melbourne, Australia. He began as a developer over 20-years ago - initially using Visual Basic 3, 4, 5, 6 - and then .NET development with C#. And then into ASP.NET, and SharePoint, and now Azure+Office 365.

He has run the Melbourne SharePoint User Group in Melbourne for many years, and now re-branded as Office 365 User Group.

Chris presents at conferences such as SharePoint Conference AU+NZ, and TechEd - as well as many SharePoint Saturdays.

He works for KACHIHRO (, a new startup consulting firm - assisting customers with migration to Office365, and configuring, customising and extending to meet the needs of each organisation.

Chris has a key interest in "workflow", and works with products such as K2 and Nintex - and he contributed a chapter to the "Professional K2 BlackPearl" book, from Wrox Press.

When he's not a keyboard, you'll find Chris 'behind bars'. The bars of a bicycle that is - either mountain biking, or cycling in the hills on his road bike. He recently completed a 100km MTB race, and hopes to "get out more often".

You can find Chris on Twitter as @GrumpyWookie...
