Jennifer Smith (jennifer smith)
Jennifer Smith bridges the gap between design, and development. She works extensively with user experience design and user interface design. She is skilled at interpreting technical information and presenting it in a clear and easy-to-understand manner.
Jennifer has been involved with teaching designers and developers around the world how to create successful Windows Store apps for Windows 8. 
She is the author of more than 15 books on technology and design, including Creating Modern UI, Photoshop Digital Classroom, and Adobe Creative Suite for Dummies.
Jennifer is an experienced designer for Windows 8 and Windows Phone, and expert with Expression Blend. She has worked on designing embedded, mobile, and tocuh-centric applications,games, and websites. 
She has served as the Microsoft Artist-in-Residence overseeing the delivery of the design techniques and philosophy to Microsoft employees and partners for Windows Phone. She works to bridge the gap between UI design and .Net development. You can find many of her tutorials online at Jennifer also teaches Windows 8 UX design classes at American Graphics Institute.
