.NET Expert, Agilist, Teacher, CTO, Entreprise Architect
Jean-Philippe Gouigoux has been programming for 35 years. His first craft was a Citizen 120-D printer driver for Amstrad. He studied at Technology University in Compiègne (UTC - Mechanical Systems), with one year abroad at University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, US) and a Master of Science at Cranfield University (UK). Later, he got a degree from University of Lyon. After toying for a few years with Java and C++ for Dassault Systems, JP migrated to Brittany, where he has been working since 2001 for MGDIS, a software editor for government-owned agencies, then SALVIA in 2020, a software editor in the real estate domain. Starting as an analyst-developer, JP went gradually up to Software Architect, now responsible for the technical infrastructure in .NET used by 45 developers. He currently is group Chief Technical Officer, and part of the board. His main interests are .NET in general, parallel programming, asynchronous programming, object prevalence, Azure, Blazor, NoSQL, Agile methods, Visual Studio, Team Foundation System, GPGPU, Kinect and Green IT. JP is a regular lecturer at University of South Brittany and other academics, teaching algorithms, security, software testing. He has written several books on .NET performance, Data Analysis, Docker, Open Data and Kubernetes.
