Gianni Rosa Gallina
Gianni Rosa Gallina is an Italian MSc Information Technology Engineer. Currently he is the head of ImmotionAR division and Software Architect/Developer in BEPS Engineering (Microsoft Embedded Gold Partner) since 2007, Pluralsight Author since 2013 and graduated at the Polytechnic of Turin in 2009.

Since 2011 he has been awarded Microsoft MVP for Windows Embedded and in 2011 he won the second prize at the international hobbyist competition Microsoft Embedded Spark.

In addition to Windows Embedded and .NET development, he's also active on Windows Store Apps development, mobile apps development for Windows Phone and the cloud, with projects with Silverlight, ASP.NET MVC, Umbraco CMS and Microsoft Azure. Recently, he's focused on Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality, cross-platform app development for Windows/Android (native and Xamarin), Computer Vision, wearable technologies (Android Wear, Microsoft Band) and NUI (Natural User Interfaces) using Microsoft Kinect, Intel RealSense and Leap Motion.

Gianni is also a trainer for Windows Embedded CE 6.0, Windows Embedded Standard 7 and Windows Embedded 8 Standard. In addition to official Microsoft courses, he is involved in academic and research activities: student internships and degree thesis projects tutoring; support, courses and seminars about Windows Embedded for engineering schools and Polythecnic of Turin.

He is an active member of the local Microsoft technology community: TTG - Torino Technologies Group.
