Peter De Tender
IT-Geek by day, Gin-Tonic fan by night
Peter De Tender is an independent Microsoft Infrastructure Expert, Consultant, Microsoft Certified Trainer and International Speaker, based in Belgium, but traveling the world for his passion. Having worked for some of the top IT integrator companies in Belgium before he started working as freelance consultant 4 years ago, Peter has a strong technical background, smooth technical presales skills, as well as the experience to translate it to business opportunities. While Peter was always known as "the Microsoft Exchange guru", he shifted to System Center, Windows Hyper-V, Azure and Enterprise Mobility Suite in the last 2 years. Peter trains a lot on these subjects both within Belgium and internationally, and is a frequently-asked speaker at conferences. During his Exchange timeframe, Peter wrote an Exchange 2013 Cookbook for Packt Publishing, as well as having co-authored the Exchange 2013 migration training course for MVP-Press. Out of his new technology focus, he published a "Mastering Hyper-V 2012 R2" book for Packt Publishing, was the author of the Opsgility course content on Azure Site Recovery which got published Oct 2015, and currently writing on a book for Apress on the same subject, which should be out by Jan 2016. His passion for Microsoft training led him to start the Belgian chapter of IAMCT, the International Association of Microsoft Certified Trainers, a non-for-profit community of MCTs worldwide, for which Peter became the European Chairman in 2013.
