Paolo Patierno is a Principal Engineer who has been working on Microsoft technologies since 2006 and with all versions of the. Net Framework (Micro, Compact and Desktop); he has been developming on embedded and mobile systems (based on Windows CE, WindowsPhone / Android and other RTOS) since 2010, using different programming languages from C/C + + to C # through Java. He graduated in Computer Engineering at the University "Federico II" of Naples in 2006 and he began his professional career as an ASP.NET developer, then he moved on software application for PC and ARM platforms (embedded and mobile). Today he is working on the messaging and IoT team in Red Hat on a lot of different open source projects, involving open standard protocols like AMQP and MQTT and different projects like Apache Kafka, Kubernetes, OpenShift, EnMasse, Strimzi and so on. He is also committer and lead for Eclipse Hono project and maintainer for Eclipse Vert.x components related to IoT. He is blogger and speaker for different national and international conference other than writing technical articles for different web sites. Finally, in his spare time, he developed some applications for Windows Phone platform and today he develops some open source projects on GitHub, completely dedicated to. NET Micro Framework and the Internet of Things.
