Alexandre Mutel is a lead software architect.

He has been working for 8 years on trading systems for a leading French bank (mostly distributed systems in Java) and he has been working now for several years in the game industry (mostly middleware in C#)

He is the author of the SharpDX library, a popular open-source DirectX binding for .NET. In the past 5 years, he has been working on the architecture and development of a .NET game engine called Xenko –

He is also contributing to several open-source projects on github.

Alexandre is passionate by a wide range of different problems, from low-level to high-level, in the domain of real-time graphics rendering, GPGPU, audio synthesis, efficient usage of managed languages, documentation and code generation, language design, building workflows…
