Dynamics AX 2012 Solutions Architect Dynamics 365 for Operations Solution Architect

I have been working with Dynamics AX since the first release back in 1998.
For a long while working as a developer / Consultant implementing interfaces between AX and other system.
In those days, I created a toolset called Galaxy for that purpose. Later on when I worked with Microsoft, I was part of the design team of the DIXF tool and happy to see the integration / Data conversion module finally ended up being a standard part of the application.
Since 2004, I have been focusing on the technical aspects of implementing Dynamics AX, using the skillset from SQL server, SharePoint and all the other related MS stack products, which is vital to comprehend the magnitude of an AX installation.

Since AX 2012 arrived, a big part of the implementation has been TFS and the development cycles and with an increasing complexity in AX, the ALM lifecycle has been I big and interesting focus area.

This is where my focus is currently. One thing is to implement and install another is to keep the system running, update, patch troubleshoot, and all the other elements related to ALM. You will find my focus to be around

For the last 3 years I have been the Lead Solution Architect for a large South Africa corporation in the quest of transforming the IT landscape in a truly 360 degree project.
Starting out with disconnected systems, we now (2019) has enterred a stabilization face running 4 AX2012 R3 installation and 2 D365 installations
