Dan is passionate about building cool stuff, writing articles, having fun with technology and talking about it in user groups.   Dan is Director of Technology Engineering for Rehrig Pacific Company, is president and founder of the Charlotte Internet of Things (IoT) and co-founded Logical Advantage which was acquired by Pratt Miller.  Dan helps lead several epic teams doing artificial intelligence, cognitive computer vision and IoT projects.  He is on the steering committee of the NC Regional Internet of Things and recognized as Microsoft Most Valuable Professional MVP award 7 times for his engagement in the community around Azure and IoT.  Awarded by Microsoft as a Regional Director that consists of around 150 of the top technology visionaries from over 50 countries chosen specifically for cross-platform experience, community leadership, and commitment to business results.
