I'm a Chief Architect at everis (an NTT Data company) in the Digital Architectures team and part of the Microsoft Azure Competence Center in Lisbon. Participating in architectural design for solutions of high complexity with a focus on cloud computing, as well as providing guidance for other solution architects in the team. I'm also a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) by the Scrum Alliance.

With 17 years of IT/software consulting experience, I've worked on projects for customers of all sizes and in different countries, mostly with Microsoft technologies, with a special focus on Microsoft SharePoint, Office 365 and Microsoft Azure. I'm mostly interested in Enterprise Software Architecture as well as cloud-based architectures, with a special focus on microservices and PaaS-based solutions, collaborative solutions, and search. I have extensive experience in SharePoint & Office-based solutions, as well as Microsoft Azure, database design and software development using Microsoft platforms and tools.

I've been an invited speaker in several technical events, either official Microsoft events such as TechDays, DevDays, Road To SharePoint 2010, WebCamp and Developer Tech Refresh, as well as community and User Group events such as Portuguese SharePoint User Group and Portuguese Office 365 User Group meetings. I was also a speaker at the European SharePoint Conference in 2011, 2015 and 2016, a member of the Programme Team for the European SharePoint Conference 2014, a speaker for SP24 and Collab365 virtual conferences, and I'm one of the founding members of the Portuguese SharePoint User Group (SPUG PT).
