Yulia Barnakova is a Metaverse Lead Business Strategist at Accenture, a global technology consulting firm. She works with Fortune 500 leaders to explore and seize opportunities with metaverse and web3 technologies.   

She is always exploring ways to combine PowerPoint and video platforms with metaverse technologies like Mesh for next-gen audience experiences.  

Yulia is involved in numerous metaverse and web3 communities and has conducted keynotes, team building experiences, and business tours in metaverse platforms, creatively blending PowerPoint, 3D models, and mixed reality. 

Her recent TEDx talk “Think You’re Not Tech Savvy? Here’s Why You Are” features her learning journey in virtual reality and PowerPoint – and how others can do the same. Her tutorials about creative presentation and communication tricks have been viewed over 8 million times and featured in “United States of YouTube” installations.

Yulia has a Master’s degree in communication from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in finance and international business from Villanova University.  She also holds language certificates from Boston University in Paris and American University in Cairo.
