Led the development of financial systems of national coverage, such as the Securities Settlement Engine for the Central Securities Depository, and the Index Calculation and Dissemination Engine for one of the stock exchanges in Mexico. Helped develop methodologies for índices for the capital and derivatives market. As VP of Data Science and Analytics at a major stock broker, he led the development of a recommender system for investments and savings for the firm's digital platforms. Cofounded The Data Pub, the largest Data Science community in Mexico, with over 2000 members. VP of Growth for the Mexican Society for Data Science, where he runs successful programs to bring awareness and sensibilization to private and public sector about the prerequisites, pitfalls, opportunities, promises and dangers of starting data initiatives and fostering data and evidence-driven cultures that are ethical, rigorous and valuable. Speaker at international forums, such as SXSW, on Machine Ethics and Algorithmic Transparency. Member of the citizen task force that declared war on Cambridge Analytica's business in Mexico. Currently, he is CIO of Luxelare, a precision agriculture firm.
