I run GUI Innovations, a consultancy originally founded to market our GUI3000 product. After making a version of GUI3000 for the Pocket PC, I decided to devote more time to PPC. This in turn led on to Windows Phone and Windows Store development. This in turn has led on to working with Xamarin, UWP, .NET MAUI and UNO applications.

I also do Consultancy and bespoke design and development of applications, for Windows, Xamarin and UNO Platform, specialising in LOB applications for mobile devices. 

I setup and co-organise DotNetNorth, an active and expanding community of .NET fans with over 3300 members.  Over the last 12 months, thanks to group efforts, we have increased attendance to around 50 to100 attendees per month. The group is growing on a weekly basis and is now one of the largest tech groups in the UK. During the pandemic DotNetNorth has been online, with presenters and attendees from around the world.

Although I specialise in mobile applications, I am equally happy and adept using the full framework and UWP. I have been working with SQL Server for over 20 years, and am happy to code in C#, VB.Net, Cobol(!) and T-SQL.
