Since then he's worked on an eclectic assortment of applications in such diverse fields as automated repair dispatching, telephone switch programming, fuel tax collections, scientific visualization, and coaching tools for professional football players; but his favorite topics remain algorithms and graphics. Lately Rod has written more than 30 books and 250 magazine articles, mostly about Visual Basic programming. Rod is a regular speaker at users group meetings and conferences, and keeps busy maintaining the popular VB Helper Web site (www.vb-helper.com).
