Sean has worked with cutting edge Microsoft server / cloud technologies at leading technology companies throughout his career. Now, he uses his experience to help other enterprises embrace Microsoft hybrid identity.
Sean Deuby is an identity architect for gold-certified Enterprise Mobility Management partner Edgile, Inc., where his focus is on helping Microsoft's Fortune 500 customers build their hybrid identity environment using Enterprise Mobility + Security. Before joining Edgile, Sean was Technical Director for Penton Media's IT group (Windows IT Pro), where he wrote over 400 articles and spoke extensively on identity and cloud computing topics. Sean spent 10 years with Intel Corporation, where he was the design engineer of the IT directory services team and one of the architects of Intel’s corporate Active Directory forest. Sean was also technical lead and a principal architect of Texas Instruments' original worldwide enterprise Windows NT network. As a writer, Sean wrote one of the first Windows 2000 books that focused on explaining its Active Directory, and was a Contributing Editor for Windows IT Pro Magazine since 1997. He's one of the first Microsoft Certified Systems Engineers, and Microsoft has awarded him the MVP (Most Valuable Professional) distinction for directory services every year since 2004. Away from the keyboard, he has practiced and taught Okinawan karate for many years and holds multiple black belts. He's also a runner and cyclist. Sean has been a supernumerary with The Dallas Opera, and their unofficial dragon handler.
