Billy Hollis
Billy is an internationally known expert on .NET technologies, including Silverlight/WPF and Visual Basic. He was co-author of the first book ever published on Visual Basic .NET, as well as many other .NET books and articles. He was selected by Microsoft to teach all 200 instructors for the first .NET Developer Tour. He has presented at major conferences on software development all over the world, including TechEd, PDC, VSLive, DevConnections, and the Microsoft Patterns and Practices Architect Summit. 

Billy has been a Microsoft Regional Director since 1998, and was Regional Director of the Year for 2001. He's been a member of the INETA (International .NET Association of user groups) Speaker's Bureau since 2002, and was also named in 2002 as a "Software Legend" by Microsoft.

Billy has his own consulting practice in Nashville, TN named Next Version Systems. He and his team focus on .NET architecture, advanced UI development with WPF and Silverlight, healthcare-oriented software, and development of commercial software packages.
