Luis Abreu was born on June 27th,1976 in Funchal, Portugal. Currrently, he is working at DSSIOD (which is part of  Secretaria Regional do Ambiente e Recursos Naturais of Madeira) where he's responsible for the development of web applications and leads its research.

Luis holds a degree on  Systems and Computer Engineering (1999) from UMa (Universidade da Madeira) and in the last years he has been involved in several web projects. 

Currently, his research interests embrace several areas with special focus on ASP.NET, C# and C++\CLI.
