Beer, Wine and Database Programming. What could be better?

I'm a retired Systems Design engineer who was involved in computer systems for a major oil company. Through work, I got very involved in database programming, both mainframe and PC. Since retirement, though, I've completed a two-year Brewmaster program (and will actually be lecturing about The History of Brewing and Beer for the college)

I wrote the monthly Access Answers column for Pinnacle Publication's Smart Access for almost 3 years until the magazine was bought out and stopped publishing new material, and was a regular contributor to Advisor Media's Advisor Guide to Microsoft Access. I'm the co-author of Access Solutions: Tips, Tricks, and Secrets from Microsoft Access MVPs (with Arvin Meyer), and of Effective SQL: 61 Specific Ways to Write Better SQL (with John Viescas and Ben Clothier), and have also been technical editor for a number of different books.
