Duane has a parks and recreation administration degree from the University of Minnesota. He began writing database programs for the Eau Claire (WI) Parks and Recreation Department back in the early 80s. This lead to a career change during a mid-life crisis resulting in full-time consulting. He now divides his work life between Access, SQL Server, Power BI, and web solutions.

Duane participates in several Access related news groups, forums, and list servers. He also has several popular Access demos at various web sites.
