Marije Brummel

Netherlands
Marije Brummel is a freelance all-round Microsoft Dynamics Business Central specialist.

소개

In 2011 at NAVTechDays Marije was the first to introduce the concept of Design Patterns in the Dynamics NAV ecosystem, a topic she wrote a book about in 2014. She also helped Microsoft with the Design Patterns project which turned around the way people think about developing business applications.

She started in the 1990ies as an end user with Navision Financials but quickly decided to become professional. During 8 years she has worked for NAV partners. Designing and maintaining add-on systems was her specialization. Some of these add-on systems exceed the standard product where it comes to size and complexity. Coaching colleagues and troubleshooting complex problems are passion and part of day to day work.

Today she is working freelance and has been hired by almost every NAV partner in the Benelux area to help out in implementations by end users.

Many end users of Microsoft Dynamics NAV struggle with questions how to upgrade their on prem solution to a cloud solution. Marije can help you answer these questions and plot a roadmap to the future retaining the investment in the solution.

When Microsoft introduced the cloud architecture it meant a major shift for experienced NAV developers and consultant. Marije has trained most of them in The Netherlands and Belgium.

To be able to share knowledge in an efficient and global way, Marije wrote the book “Dynamics NAV 2009 Application Design” which is often referred to as the “NAV Bible”. Its contents applies to newer and older versions of the product too.

In 2015 Marije started NAV-Skills.com, a not-for-profit community to bring learning content and teachers together and help them create new opportunities.

Marije is an associate in the Dynamics App Alliance, teacher at NAV-Skills and co-founder of the Dutch Dynamics Community.

On her website Marije maintains a blog. This blog contains a wide range of articles about Dynamics Business Central, Microsoft Dynamics NAV and SQL Server. She is also a frequent speaker at Microsoft events.
