Truitt is currently an Accountant for FirstCare Health Plans in Austin, Texas.  He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting.  His programming languages include Visual Basic, Visual Basic for Applications, and C++.  He has developed database applications in Microsoft Access beginning with version 1.0 and continues using version 2003 and utilizes Microsoft SQL Server as the data source.

He is very active at the Utter Access Discussion Forums and is a forum Moderator/Editor.

He currently lives near Austin, Texas and enjoys hunting, shooting, gun collecting, gourmet cooking, geneology, wine tasting, photography, driving his Miata, and is active in Freemasonry.  In his free time he has a small tax accounting practice.  His two children are both IT professionals.  His daughter is a System Admin for an agri-engineering firm and his son is a computer security engineer/researcher for a network test equipment manufacturer.  Truitt has a grandaughter and a grandson.
