Bill Mosca

Biografia

Bill started working with Microsoft Office Access in 1994 when, as a restaurant chef and later a general manager, he wanted a better way to track banquet bookings other than endless sheets of paper. When he decided to make a career change he went back to college and took courses in client/server programming and database design. His first job out of school was as an Access database developer for a medical bill review company. In 2000 he became an independent contractor working in various industries doing what he loved: developing Access applications and SQL Server databases.

Today, Bill works at a not-for-profit hospital in Mountain View, California as a application developer and DBA. Included in his many duties are building and supporting several proprietary database applications for the financial analysis department, the several dialysis units, the free clinic and other areas. He also mentors staff throughout the hospital who have built personal databases to make their jobs easier. He runs an Access user group forum during his free time. His other interests are a passion for cooking and music.
