The MVP Global Summit is a multi-day event that is hosted in Bellevue and at Microsoft headquarters in Redmond, Washington. With a large catalog of technical sessions (offered only in English) and a variety of networking opportunities, the MVP Global Summit enables MVPs to connect with other MVPs, build relationships with Microsoft product managers, and provide feedback on Microsoft products and technologies.
The MVP Global Summit is an exclusive event for MVPs. For the 2016 event, MVPs who have been, or will be awarded within these dates are invited: October 2015, January 2016, April 2016, July 2016, and October 2016.
Invitation to this event is also extended to Regional Directors (RDs). MVPs and RDs must have a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement on file. Attendees are responsible for their own air travel to and from the event. International attendees should review travel authorization requirements to the United States and initiate paperwork as soon as possible. The closest airport is Seattle-Tacoma International (SEA) which is located approximately 18 miles (28 km) from downtown Bellevue. Vancouver International Airport (YVR) in Canada is located approximately 141 miles (227 km) from downtown Bellevue. All travelers, including U.S. residents, arriving into Canada by air, land or sea, will need a passport or equivalent travel documents to cross the border into the U.S.
MVPs are responsible for their own ground transportation to and from the airport. Suggestions on various modes of transportation can be found on the Local Information - Transportation page. Shuttles will be provided to and from the MVP Summit hotels, sponsored events and activities.
